Pruning Class

I got to spend the whole afternoon learning about pruning. I attended the blackberry and peach workshops, and now I know a lot more than I used to. As soon as it warms up a bit I'll be out doing some short-term damage, long-term improvement to my brambles and baby peach trees.

What a great idea, learning pruning from the professionals.

Ohhh, that's a skill I would like to learn. I hope you reap many benefits from your new knowledge, Anna! :)

Anna - are those your trees, or the ones you worked on at class? (wow)

Very Beautiful.

Could you possibly answer a question? Do your children prep for the SAT, PSAT or ACT? And at what age? Your children are very good at finding their passion earlier.

Lisa, these are NOT my trees! I have two baby peach trees in my vegetable garden. This is like a peach estate!!

Bride, I don't prep my children for these tests, but I have learned that they should take the PSAT in the 10th grade to qualify for the National Merit Scholarship program, then in the 11th to do the final NM qualification SAT, and also the ACT to send on to colleges. So for us, that has been ages 14-15 for the PSAT, and then 15-16 for the second year.
